The Best Tasting Menus in SF Under $150

These spots deliver the full experience without draining your wallet.

May 2026

There are some delicious multi-course tasting menus in SF that are more accessible than you'd think. We rounded up eight of our favorites that deliver a full, memorable dining experience.

Anomaly

Anomaly

Polk Gulch Fine dining techniques on comfort food

Anomaly's cooking is inventive and constantly evolving, but every dish is rooted in the warmth of comfort food. The flavors feel familiar even when you've never tasted anything quite like them. The menu changes every season, but the egg emoji dish is always on it. One savory, delectable bite that tastes like everything great about a diner, elevated. Choose between the 5-course abridged menu at $99 per person or the full menu at $167.

Dalida

Dalida

Presidio Turkish with California conviction

Dalida's tasting menu is packed with delicious bites. Our favorite is the breaking bread dish, a beautiful plate of dips with pita hot from the oven. The smoky labneh is the standout of the spread. If you can snag a seat at the counter, you can watch the chefs do service and even test out new recipes. As a big fan of Top Chef, it was awesome to see Chef and Co-Owner Laura Ozyilmaz in action. $90 per person for this delicious meal.

Ernest

Ernest

Mission District Come with a big appetite

Brandon Rice + Ernest's Asian-inspired tasting menu is fun, exciting, and so filling that you might have to unbutton your pants by the end of the night. You get to try so many dishes with different textures and flavors. The main tasting menu is $139 and boy is it worth it.

Tiya

Tiya

Marina Indian flavors, fine dining care

Tiya's Indian tasting menu is a delicious mix of flavors and masalas. A standout is the Xec Xec shrimp dish, with a flavorful shrimp oil I couldn't stop going back to until the very last drop. Another highlight is the cocktail program, with San Francisco neighborhood-inspired drinks that earned the bartender Eater's 2024 Bartender of the Year. Tasting menu is priced at $135 per person.

Mr. Pollo

Mr. Pollo

Mission District The best deal in SF, full stop

Mr. Pollo's $50 4-course tasting is an amazing deal for an intimate, curated dining experience. The spot only has a few seats and the chef assembles meals for the whole room right in front of you. They always have some sort of arepa on the menu as a homage to the original restaurant at the location, which has always been my favorite.

Bodega

Bodega

Financial District Swanky vibe, killer Viet food and cocktails

Bodega serves a delicious tasting menu of fresh and elevated Vietnamese food. My favorite of the menu was the Bun Cha in its addictive umami sauce. The vibe is swanky, social, and full of energy. Don't forget to try the Southeast Asian fusion drinks. At $90 per person, this is a must-do.

Liholiho Yacht Club

Liholiho Yacht Club

Union Square Hawaiian soul, SF energy

Liholiho Yacht Club's tasting menu is as fun and lively as the atmosphere. It is hard to find fine dining Hawaiian food and the chefs here truly do it justice. Save room for the mini baked alaska that comes for dessert. At $85 per person, this is a great experience.

Rintaro

Rintaro

Mission District Japanese craftsmanship, California spirit

Entering Rintaro transports you to an izakaya in Japan. The tasting menu serves a variety of delicious Japanese food. The optional sake pairing is a great addition worth your while. This one stays with you. At $90 per person, this is an excellent place to spend your evening.
